Plenty Of It underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh and right hip muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr F.Zeinert, the trainer of Plenty Of It regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Plenty Of It was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Zeinert pleaded guilty to the charge, Plenty Of It is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr Gavin Gledhill, the trainer of the greyhound Nimble Nala regarding the number of starts the greyhound has had between 24/06/19 and 08/07/19 (14 days - 5 starts). Mr Gledhill stated that as the greyhound was only exercised on a walking machine between races, the greyhound is not released in the day yards for long periods and that he has the greyhounds regularly vetted between races.

Liberal Jones, Serendipity Sam and Manila Mist were slow to begin. Liberal Jones and Serendipity Sam collided soon after the start. Oriental Ollie was quick to begin. Gazza's Pick and Belle's On Boost were slow to begin. Mum's The Word checked off Broken Pieces approaching the first turn. Broken Pieces and My Name's George collided approaching the first turn. Angel's Comet and Chicago Focus collided approaching the first turn, checking Angel's Comet. Gazza's Pick and Broken Pieces collided on the first turn. Broken Pieces and Mum's The Word raced wide entering the home straight. 

Ivalise Allen and Mister Maker collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Ivalise Allen raced wide entering the home straight. Iceni Skye and Rod Vader collided in the home straight.

Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Miss Bea was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Robinson pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Bea must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
