Why Not Macca, Miss Pocket Aces and Amanda Lee collided soon after the start checking Why Not Macca and Miss Pocket Aces. Where's Success checked off Amanda Lee approaching the first turn. Tiggy Buzzard galloped on Amanda Lee on the first turn. Why Not Macca galloped on Tubark aaproaching the home turn checking Why Not Macca and causing Tubark to fall.

Tubark underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left scapula fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
