Elite Coconut checked off Chasin' Bobbi on the first turn. Merriview Jolt and La Coconut collided approaching the home turn. Inga Assalt raced wide on the home turn. Ocon Perez and La Coconut collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Inga Mikey was quick to begin. 

Hillbilly June, Unbuckled and Equals Two collided approaching the first turn checking Hope To Wyn. Hillbilly June and Unbuckled collided on the first turn severely checking Hillbilly June. Equals Two and Inga Mikey collided on the home turn. Dorellie Love checked off Niall Bale entering the home straight. Niall Bale and Dorellie Love collided several times in the home straight.

Keithy Bale and Pippa Squeak collided soon after the start. Charlie's Feet checked off Blue Bar Pie approaching the first turn. Don's Trouble and Keithy Bale collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Don's Trouble. Blue Bar Pie and Johnny Dunbar collided on the first turn.  Don's Trouble raced wide on the home turn.

Crown Benji was quick to begin.

Oh Spolly, Raylene Bale and Smart Sailor collided soon after the start. Boney Power checked off Oh Spolly approaching the first turn causing Smart Sailor to check off Boney Power. Raylene Bale checked off Smart Sailor on the first turn. Raylene Bale checked off Boney Power approaching the home turn. Raylene Bale and Boney Power collided in the home straight checking Boney Power.

Cherokee Fawn was quick to begin. Zoro Bale went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Spyfection and Zoro Bale collided soon after the start. Stevie Jane and Blackjack Cruise collided on the first turn. Zoro Bale and Emgee Sprinter collided on the first turn checking Emgee Sprinter. Stevie Jane and Zoro Bale collided in the back straight. Blackjack Cruise and Cherokee Fawn collided in the back straight. Stevie Jane and Blackjack Cruise collided entering the home straight.

Giant Jarvis was slow to begin.

Scott Dynamism checked off Over And Away soon after the start. I'm Circus checked off Leeroy Rox soon after the start. Scott Dynamism checked off Game Spirit on the first turn checking Scott Dynamism. Urban Ruler and Over And Away collided on the first turn. Over And Away checked off Urban Ruler approaching the home turn. Urban Ruler and Over And Away collided on the home turn. Game Spirit raced wide on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from I'm Circus - the winner of the event.

Mrs A. Courts was issued with a warning after the greyhound Winlock Intent was negligently (GAR 86(o)) placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.  

Sisco Bella was quick to begin. Crackerjack Nev was very slow to begin (2L).

Crackerjack Nev checked off My Hardaway Hana entering the home straight.

Maina Honey was slow to begin and collided with Taking Off soon after the start. Yep Yep checked off Tennyson Girl soon after the start. Quick Transition checked off Yep Yep approaching the first turn. Maina Honey and Just Audrey collided on the first turn. Nessie Bale checked off Just Audrey approaching the home turn. Yep Yep crossed to the rail approaching the winning post colliding with Tennyson Girl.

A post-race sample was taken from Mini Yaala - the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mrs Samantha Taylor trainer of Yep Yep in regards to the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Upon reviewing the available race footage Stewards took no further action. Yep Yep underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Calcaneal.

Blackpool Remi was quick to begin.

Calcaneal and Flash Angel collided soon after the start. Tiggy Buzzard crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Calcaneal and Flash Angel. Nick's Fever checked off Tiggy Buzzard approaching the first turn. Kiowa Kaema, Flash Angel and Flame Slinger collided approaching the home turn. Flame Slinger checked off Blackpool Remi approaching the home turn. Nick's Fever raced wide on the home turn. Flash Angel and Tiggy Buzzard collided several times in the home straight. Blackpool Remi, Flash Angel and Tiggy Buzzard collided approaching the winning post.

Nick's Never underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Shaun Baulch in regards to Nick‘s Nevers‘ performance and acting under GAR 75(1), stewards advised Mr Baulch to report to the Stewards as soon as practical anything that might have affected the running of the greyhound in this event which was noted by stewards immediately after the event. 

Supplementary Report 19.06.2019:

Pursuant to GAR 75 (1) Mr Baulch reported to Stewards that the greyhound Nick‘s Never appears sound upon examination.

Pharoah's Dream was quick to begin. Flying Sam, Kubla De Kahn, Agent Que and Almendra collided soon after the start. Almendra checked off Flying Sam and collided with Kubla De Kahn approaching the first turn. Almendra and Agent Que collided on the first turn checking Almendra. Agent Que and Kubla De Kahn collided several times approaching the home turn. Kubla De Kahn checked off Agent Que in the home straight. Pharoah's Dream checked off Lacarabine approaching the winning post.

SATISFACTORY TRIALS:

The following greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trial took place over 400m with number of greyhounds required to trial. The winning time of trial was 22.43.

Mepunga Remi finished 1st; Mother Hannah (pulled up shortly after the start), Tinker Billy finished 3rd.   

Mepunga Remi – Was stood down from racing at Geelong for failing to chase due to injury. Weighing 29.5kgs and beginning from box 1 winning by 3.75L. Mepunga Remi has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Mother Hannah – Was stood down from racing at Geelong for failing to chase due to injury. Weighing 29.8kgs and beginning from box 3. Mother Hannah pulled up shortly after the start and failed to finish the trial. Mother Hannah was not cleared.

Tinker Billy – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months. Weighing 29.1kgs and beginning from box 7, Tinker Billy completed the 400m trial distance in a time of 23.51. Tinker Billy placed 3rd in a field of 4 starters beaten by 15.5L. Tinker Billy has not been cleared to race due to the greyhound not taking a competitive part from the half way stage of the trial.
