Battered Sav was quick to begin. Unrivalled Dusty was slow to begin.
Abelero Bale and Ashby Mayhem collided soon after the start checking Abelero Bale. Graphic Design and Ashby Mayhem collided approaching the first turn checking Unrivalled Dusty and Ashby Mayhem. Abelero Bale galloped on the heels of Jackson Abby on the first turn checking Abelero Bale and severely checking Jackson Abby. Unrivalled Dusty raced wide throughout the event.
A post-race sample was taken from Battered Sav - the winner of the event.
Jackson Abby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left hindleg. No stand down period was imposed.
