Florentine Bale and Fireball Frank collided soon after the start. Molly Fernando and Florentine Bale collided approaching the first turn. Fireball Frank and Chip It Around collided appraoching the first turn. Magic Ozzie and Molly Fernando collided on the first turn checking Molly Fernando.

Galaxy Queen and Petra Bale were quick to begin. Paradise Pippa was slow to begin.

Mr. Eddie, Amortentia and Nimble Danny collided soon after the start checking Amortentia. Amortentia raced wide approaching the first turn. Mr. Eddie, Petra Bale and Nimble Danny collided on the first turn checking Mr. Eddie and Petra Bale. Paradise Pippa checked off the heels of Nimble Danny entering the home straight. Nimble Danny and Zipping Trent collided approaching the winning post.

Mario Vest Only and Taltarni Black collided soon after the start. Lektra Style and Comrade collided several times approaching the first turn. Comrade and Mario Vest Only collided approaching the first turn. Rampant Teresa checked off Denzell Bale on the first turn checking Lektra Style. Rampant Teresa and Comrade collided on the first turn checking Rampant Teresa. Rampant Teresa and Bad Boy Barry collided on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Graphic Design.

Battered Sav was quick to begin. Unrivalled Dusty was slow to begin.

Abelero Bale and Ashby Mayhem collided soon after the start checking Abelero Bale. Graphic Design and Ashby Mayhem collided approaching the first turn checking Unrivalled Dusty and Ashby Mayhem. Abelero Bale galloped on the heels of Jackson Abby on the first turn checking Abelero Bale and severely checking Jackson Abby. Unrivalled Dusty raced wide throughout the event. 

A post-race sample was taken from Battered Sav - the winner of the event.

Jackson Abby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left hindleg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Banjo Bad Boy was slow to begin.

Vivatar, Wrangle, Spring Typhoon and Optimus Dusty collided soon after the start checking Wrangle and Optimus Dusty . Wrangle checked off Spring Typhoon appraoching the first turn, checking Optimus Dusty and Banjo Bad Boy. Wrangle checked off  Midnight Turbo on the first turn. Midnight Turbo contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.

Midnight Turbo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right wrist. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Van Nindi was quick to begin. Thomeli Monster was slow to begin.

So Tough and Cell Block Tango collided soon after the start checking Cell Block Tango. So Tough, Hatters Lane and Cudgee's Jayne collided approaching the first turn checking Cudgee's Jayne and Thomeli Monster. Thomeli Monster checked off Cell Block Tango approaching the second turn and collided with Cudgee's Jayne. So Tough checked off Miss Vonshae approaching the third turn. Hatters Lane raced wide appraoching the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Van Nindi - the winner of the event.

Lektra Perry - Late scratching at 7.55pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Podium and Percy's Curse were quick to begin. Smart Knocka was slow to begin. 

Love Heart and Whisky Hans collided soon after the start checking Whisky Hans. Gendarme and Love Heart collided several times appraoching the first turn. Gendarme, Love Heart and Whisky Hans collided on the first turn checking Love Heart. Gendarme and Whisky Hans collided appraoching the home turn checking Gendarme. Percy's Curse checked off Podium approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.

Evolution was slow to begin. 

Dakora and Lektra Rainbow collided soon after the start. Magic Bulldozer and Chiseller collided soon after the start. Dakora, Lektra Rainbow and Evolution collided approaching the first turn checking Lektra Rainbow. Nebraska Nell, Giggling Gerty and Magic Bulldozer collided on the first turn checking Nebraska Nell, Giggling Gerty, Lektra Rainbow and Dakora. Evolution, Magic Bulldozer and Ready And Armed collided in the home straight checking Evolution and Ready And Armed. Nebraska Nell, Evolution and Ready And Armed collided approaching the winning post.

Moraine Hayley was quick to begin.

Zagreb, Devil Den, Banjo Bliss and Molly Byrnes collided soon after the start checking Devil Den, Banjo Bliss and Molly Byrnes. Molly Byrnes, Banjo Bliss and Devil Den collided on the first turn checking Banjo Bliss and Devil Den. Devil Den checked off Banjo Bliss approaching the home turn. Molly Byrnes checked off Mouthy Boof approaching the home turn. Nanda Sizzle checked off Artpop approaching the home turn, raced wide checking Zagreb, resulting in Zagreb racing wide.

Post-race samples were taken from Nanda Sizzle 3rd placegetter.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Keane, the trainer of Nanda Sizzle, regarding a significant market move on fixed odds betting ($23-$9). Mr. Keane stated that he did not support the greyhound in tonight’s event and was unaware of any market moves. Mr. Keane added he was disappointed with Nanda Sizzle‘s performance last start and in his opinion the greyhound performed above his expectations today. Stewards noted his comments.  

Fab's Special and Daisy Doo collided soon after the start. Black Opaque and Abby's Star collided soon after the start. Fab's Special, Any Excuse and Foxzami Raptor collided approaching the first turn checking Lektra Desire. Any Excuse and Foxzami Raptor collided on the first turn checking Foxzami Raptor. Daisy Doo and Any Excuse collided approaching the home turn severely checking Daisy Doo which collided with Foxzami Raptor, resulting in Foxzami Raptor being checked and Daisy Doo falling.

Daisy Doo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured left ulna. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the event, Stewards inspected the track in the vicinty of the home turn and deemed the surface suitable for racing.
