Steward's Report
Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, races were suspended at 6.30pm and put back two races due to storm activity (continuous lightning strikes within the designated safety zone around Cranbourne). Due to safety concerns for all involved, the meeting was abandoned at 7.13pm after Stewards made contact with the Weather Bureau for the second time who advised that lightning activity was likely to continue for the remainder of the night.
Prize money for this meeting will be divided between runners.
