Stewards consulted with GRV Lure Driver - Mr Lachlan Gough regarding the visibility of the track due to the smoke haze within the area, in particular, the 350m start.  Mr Gough was satisfied he had sufficient vision for the meeting to proceed.

Unusual Suspect, Ishmy Rory and Tilson collided soon after the start.  Ishmy Rory and Tilson collided at the 250m mark checking Ishmy Rory.  Tilson checked off Unusual Suspect at the 100m mark.  Ishmy Rory checked off Wayward Arrow at the 50m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Addy Belle - the winner of the event.

Crazy Jake went up with the lids and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Mt. View Wrap was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Team Spolly and Capture Wing collided soon after the start.  Capture Wing and Bruiser Bruce collided at the 250m mark checking Capture Wing which stumbled as a result.

Team Spolly underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Capture Wing underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right hock and right back muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Mt. View Wrap underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mrs Joyce Condon was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Superior Merlot pursuant to GAR 33.

Our Blue Spolly and Warrior Jake collided soon after the start.  Aaron's Me Boy and Superior Merlot collided soon after the start.  Jazzier and Our Blue Spolly collided at the 300m mark.  Warrior Jake and Aaron's Me Boy collided approaching the winning post.

Untested raced wide throughout the event.  Little Lunch and Cryptic collided several times from the 150m mark to the 100m mark.  Black Catani crossed to the outside at the 100m mark.

Lightning Parade and Tinker Buzz were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Shirdale Tom and Western Bomber collided soon after the start.  Rose Mikado checked off Shirdale Tom soon after the start.  Rose Mikado and Tinker Buzz collided at the 300m mark.  Dodge Coupe, Rose Mikado, Shirdale Tom and Tinker Buzz collided approaching the 200m mark checking Rose Mikado.  Shirdale Tom and Dodge Coupe collided approaching the 150m mark checking Dodge Coupe and Rose Mikado.  Tinker Buzz checked off Lightning Parade at the 100m mark checking Shirdale Tom.

Special Kirst and Blockette collided at the 250m mark.  Flying Solo and Zipping Afro collided at the 250m mark and again at the 100m mark.

Mr Braden Finn was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Absolute Madness pursuant to GAR 33.

Pranjip Zeus and Bluwy collided soon after the start.  Bruno He Mikado and Rainbow Parade collided at the 300m mark.  Pranjip and Bluwy collided at the 250m mark.

Absolute Madness – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Magic Trap and Tibby Shore collided at the 200m mark.  Magic Trap turned its head outwards and collided with Tibby Shore at the 175m mark.  Magic Trap marred the running of Zade's Magic at the 120m mark checking Tibby Shore, severely checking Magic Trap.  Canowindra and Moyarra Eclipse collided at the 100m mark.

Magic Trap underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Tony Salpigtidis, the trainer of Magic Trap regarding the greyhounds racing manners at 120m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Magic Trap was charged with marring. Mr Salpigtidis pleaded guilty to the charge, Magic Trap is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Canowindra - the winner of the event.

Mr Douglas Condon was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Reco Tonic pursuant to GAR 33.

Uncle Rico, Reco Tonic and Sprite Halo collided soon after the start.  Sprite Halo turned its head inwards and visibly eased from the 50m mark to the winning post.

Sprite Halo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr John Coburn, regarding the greyhounds racing manners from the 50m mark to the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Sprite Halo was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Coburn pleaded guilty to the charge, Sprite Halo must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
