A pre-race sample was taken from Lancashire.
Lancashire was quick to begin. Pyrenees Daisy was slow to begin.
Solar Tiny and Sofie Gogolac collided soon after the start. Lancashire, Solar Tiny and Sofie Gogolac collided approaching the first turn checking Lancashire and Solar Tiny. Crazy Summer and Sofie Gogolac collided approaching the first turn. Burner Black, Lancashire and Solar Tiny collided on the first turn severely checking Lancashire. Simmo Gogolac and Sofie Gogolac collided on the home turn. Burner Black and Pyrenees Daisy collided in the home straight.
Lancashire underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr. M. Chilcott failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Simmo Gogolac for racing. Mr. Chilcott was issued a warning pursuant to GAR 46 (2).
