Stewards spoke to Mr S Van Oirschot, the trainer of Space Trucking, and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight and approaching the winning post. In arriving at this decision, Stewards were of the opinion that while Space Trucker shifted out approaching the winning post and collided with Vitaliser, the greyhound did not turn its head and became unbalanced due to the collision. 

Sadarli - Late scratching at 5.51pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. G. Wood was fined $100.
