Steward's Report
Claretown Trixie underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.
Aston Nova and Claretown Trixie collided soon after the start, checking Claretown Trixie. Lektra Lyrebird and Akuma Fireball collided on the first turn, checking Akuma Fireball. Akuma Fireball and Claretown Trixie collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn, checking Claretown Trixie.
Claretown Trixie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle, right hindleg quadriceps muscle and a left foreleg torn nail injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Aston Nova - the winner of the event.
