Steward's Report
Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, racing was suspended at 8:22 pm due to continuous lightning strikes within the designated safety zone around the Warrnambool venue, which then caused a bank of track lights to go out and further delaying races. Due to safety concerns the meeting was delayed by 19 minutes and races re-scheduled accordingly. All races were amended to the following times: Race 8 - 8:57 pm, Race 9 - 9:28 pm, Race 10 - 9:49 pm, Race 11 - 10:05 pm and Race 12 - 10:25 pm.
Dirty Max and Ready And Armed collided approaching the first turn, checking Dirty Max. Misha Bale and Inter Helen collided on the first turn, checking Misha Bale. Peas And Carrots and Inter Helen collided approaching the home turn, checking Inter Helen.
