Steward's Report
Molly Fernando was quick to begin.
Patchie Two Dots, Maximum Sarah and Ikora Bale collided soon after the start checking Maximum Sarah. Molly Fernando and Florentine Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Molly Fernando. Patchie Two Dots raced wide and turned it's head outwards approaching the home turn checking Ikora Bale, Short Tyson, Florentine Bale, Molly Fernando and Ashby Mayhem. Patchie Two Dots eased approaching the home turn. Patchie Two Dots checked off Ashby Mayhem in the home straight. Molly Fernando and Florentine Bale collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Patchie Two Dotsunderwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race six, no apparent injury could be detected.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Westbrook, the handler of Patchie Two Dots regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Patchie Two Dots was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Westbrook pleaded guilty to the charge, Patchie Two Dots is suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
