Silver Arapaho underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards delayed the announcement of All Clear to investigate debris left on the track after birds landed at the top of the home straight. After inspecting that section of the track and viewing video footage of the race, Stewards were satisfied that the debris on the track did not materially prejudice the chances of any greyhound and as such declared All Clear on the semaphored numbers. 

Mr. Eddie, Amuri Flo and Lil Miss Shooter were slow to begin.

Patchie Two Dotsunderwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race six, no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Westbrook, the handler of Patchie Two Dots regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Patchie Two Dots was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Westbrook pleaded guilty to the charge, Patchie Two Dots is suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
