Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Galena Bale.
Shanlyn Charlott and Whatever I Want were quick to begin. Charango went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
Lily Pad and Galena Bale collided soon after the start. Galena Bale, It's A Tiger and Zipping Hamish collided soon after the start. Charango contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Galena Bale checked off Red Hot Tears on the first turn severely checking It's A Tiger and Zipping Hamish, It's A Tiger raced wide as a result. Red Hot Tears and Whatever I Want collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Whatever I Want.
Charango underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
It's A Tiger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid and left sartorius injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
