Fine Tactics was slow to begin.
Red Light Rico and My Bro Rocks collided soon after the start. My Bro Rocks and Buffet Destroyer collided approaching the first turn. Buffet Destroyer crossed to the rail on the first turn and collided with My Bro Rocks and Red Light Rico. Red Light Rico, My Bro Rocks, Legasov Bale and Invictus Quintin collided on the first turn checking Legasov Bale, Invictus Quintin and severely checking My Bro Rocks and Whispy Bale. Lethal Image and Red Light Rico collided on the first turn. Lethal Image checked off Red Light Rico entering the back straight checking Fine Tactics. Legasov Bale and Invictus Quintin collided entering the back straight checking Invictus Quintin. Whispy Bale and Invictus Quintin collided in the back straight. My Bro Rocks, Invictus Quintin and Whispy Bale collided approaching the third turn. Lethal Image and Fine Tactics collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Lethal Image. My Bro Rocks and Invictus Quintin collided several times from approaching the home turn to entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Invictus Quintin underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found a left triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
