A pre-race sample was taken from Space Trucking.
Space Trucking stumbled at the start and considerable lost ground. Falconetti and Pure Cool Titan collided soon after the start. Falconetti, Pure Cool Titan and Panadero King collided approaching the first turn, checking Pure Cool Titan and Panadero King. Pure Cool Titan and Panadero King collided on the first turn, checking Panadero King. Space Trucking raced wide approaching the home turn and collided with Pure Cool Titan. Space Trucking galloped on the heels of Pure Cool Titan approaching the home turn, checking Space Trucking. Falconetti and Bandwagon collided approaching the home turn.
Space Trucking underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg shoulder muscle and right hindleg shin soreness injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
