A pre-race sample was taken from Blue Marie.
Magnet Force was quick to begin. King's Honour was slow to begin. Brave Hearted was very slow to begin (4L).
Aston Cosmo and Blue Marie collided approaching the first turn. Brave Hearted raced wide approaching the first turn. King's Honour raced wide entering the home straight. Brave Hearted raced wide in the home straight. Magnet Force stumbled in the home straight.
Magnet Force underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race seven. Magnet Force was found to have a left hindleg groin injury. A seven day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Zoe's Intention - the winner of the event.
