Steward's Report
Topcat advised Stewards that due to software upgrade issues the vision from the second camera and head on were unavailable for this event.
From The Brink and All Hollywood collided soon after the start. Majestic Mojo, Urana Rose and Classic Paws collided soon after the start. Majestic Mojo and Classic Paws collided several times from the 300m mark to the 250m mark checking Majestic Mojo, Classic Paws, Royal Arrival and Urana Rose. Royal Arrival and Majestic Mojo collided at the 250m mark checking Royal Arrival, Majestic Mojo and Urana Rose. Superior Jacob marred All Hollywood approaching the winning post.
Superior Jacob underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Michael Tharle, the handler of Superior Jacob regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Superior Jacob was charged with marring. Mr Tharle pleaded guilty to the charge, Superior Jacob is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
