Stewards held kennels open for approximately 10 minutes due to several Trainers arriving on course late as a result of a severe traffic incident en route to track.

Topcat advised Stewards that due to software upgrade issues the vision from the second camera and head on were unavailable for this event. 

Rowdy Rocko was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Wave Collision and Fireball Frank collided soon after the start.  Aston Clurey and Fireball Frank collided at the 300m mark.  Emerald City and Fireball Frank collided at the 200m mark.  Fireball Frank crossed in approaching the 150m mark checking Emerald City, Nowhere Nathe and No Tickles.  No Tickles checked off Nowhere Nathe at the 100m mark.  Rowdy Rocko lost ground throughout the event.  

Rowdy Rocko underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

From The Brink and All Hollywood collided soon after the start.  Majestic Mojo, Urana Rose and Classic Paws collided soon after the start.  Majestic Mojo and Classic Paws collided several times from the 300m mark to the 250m mark checking Majestic Mojo, Classic Paws, Royal Arrival and Urana Rose.  Royal Arrival and Majestic Mojo collided at the 250m mark checking Royal Arrival, Majestic Mojo and Urana Rose.  Superior Jacob marred All Hollywood approaching the winning post.

Superior Jacob underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr Michael Tharle, the handler of Superior Jacob regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Superior Jacob was charged with marring. Mr Tharle pleaded guilty to the charge, Superior Jacob is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Spifflicate, Bea The Queen and Green Monster were slow to begin.

Full Of Mojo and Slick Paws collided soon after the start.  Spifflicate, Full Of Mojo and Slick Paws collided at the 250m mark checking Full Of Mojo and Slick Paws.  Green Monster and Swashbuckler collided several times from the 100m mark to the 50m mark.  Green Monster galloped on Swashbuckler approaching the winning post.  

Swashbuckler underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Superior Dougie and Tiny Shiny were slow to begin.

Sunspear, Tiny Shiny, Taltarni Black, Flying Flash and Kullaroo collided soon after the start checking Sunspear, Tiny Shiny and Taltarni Black.  Sunspear and Taltarni Black collided at the 250m mark checking Sunspear.  Superior Dougie and Awesome Arby collided approaching the 200m mark.  

Coyote Ugly - Late scratching at 12:33pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to illness (diarrhoea). A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Hello Goodnight was slow to begin.

Rock Like Jagger and As Only Is collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark checking Rock Like Jagger.  As Only Is crossed out at the 250m mark checking Hello Goodnight.  As Only Is, Level Neville and Banjo Plato collided at the 200m mark checking all three greyhounds.  As Only Is and Level Neville raced wide from 150m mark throughout the remainder of the event.  

Dundee Joker underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the Trainer and was found to have abrasions to the left stopper pad and left hock. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ocean Master.

Sergeant Schultz, Ocean Master and North Wind collided soon after the start.  Midnight Hussler and Dyna Owen collided at the 300m mark severely checking Midnight Hussler which stumbled and lost ground.  Sergeant Schultz crossed to the outside at the 300m mark.  Little Miss Vip and Ocean Master collided at the 150m mark checking Little Miss Vip.  North Wind and Josie's Entity collided at the 100m mark.  Little Miss Vip and Josie's Entity collided approaching the winning post.  Straaljager visibly eased approaching the winning post.  

Midnight Hussler underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Straaljager underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hind leg and a spike wound to the right hind paw, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mrs Chloe Van Der Maat, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Straaljager was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs Van Der Maat pleaded guilty to the charge, Straaljager must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Early Special was slow to begin.

Sooky Jooky crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Clarence Clocka several times.  Knocka Feller and Early Special collided at the 300m mark.  Sooky Jooky and Clarence Clocka collided at the 250m mark and again at the 150m mark checking Clarence Clocka.  

Devil's Cartel, Darklight and Briar Jet were slow to begin.

Darklight and Briar Jet collided soon after the start.  Big Flash Marjen and Pure White Evil collided at the 250m mark.  Annaley Flash and Darklight collided at the 200m mark.  

Go The Doves, Pedda Pal, Wow Anna and Thunderbolt Jack collided soon after the start checking Pedda Pal and Wow Anna.  Wow Anna checked off Thunderbolt Jack at the 300m mark.  Wow Anna and Superior Dimples collided at the 300m mark.  Wow Anna and Pedda Pal collided approaching the 250m mark.  Superior Dimples marred Anyone Arby from the 150m mark to 50m mark.  Wild and Yasawa Lights collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Superior Dimples underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left triangle muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

My Lucky Mia and Tinker Chuck collided soon after the start.  Poppo's Darling and Call Me Mia collided soon after the start.  Manila Mist crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Global Gem crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Dundee Jazz and Poppo's Darling collided at the 250m mark checking Dundee Jazz.  Poppo's Darling checked off Call Me Mia approaching the 200m mark.  Manila Mist and Call Me Mia collided at the 150m mark checking Call Me Mia.

Inter Mimi was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Hurricane Rose and Cullquin Panda collided soon after the start.  Uncle Drew, Hurricane Rose and Cullquin Panda collided at the 200m mark.  Uncle Drew and Cullquin Panda collided approaching the 100m mark.  Hurricane Rose and Cullquin Panda collided approaching the 50m mark.  Doran's Call crossed to the outside approaching the winning post.
