Play Win was quick to begin.  Gunmandu was slow to begin.  Honey's Destiny was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Ishmy Dozer, Select Charlie, Prince Of Pako and Lucero collided soon after the start.  Rising Moon crossed in soon after the start.  Select Charlie and Ishmy Dozer collided approaching the first turn.  Gunmandu and Prince Of Pako collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Select Charlie galloped on Lucero approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds, Lucero raced wide as a result.  Lucero took evasive action on the home turn to avoid contacting the outside fence.  Gunmandu and Ishmy Dozer collided in the home straight.

Lucero underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5.  Lucero was found to have an injured right shin.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  The on track Veterinarian also noted that the greyhound appeared to have impaired vision in its left eye.  Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Meade regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  After taking into consideration the findings of the Veterinarian and viewing all available video footage Stewards directed that Lucero must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 74(3) before any future nomination will be accepted.  A veterinary certificate certifying the greyhound's vision is adequate to allow the greyhound to see the lure must be provided prior to the greyhound performing a satisfactory trial.

Sailing Shoes was quick to begin.  Frosty Paradise was checked off Riley's Reason on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Sailing Shoes was checked off Conglomerate approaching the home turn checking Conglomerate, Sailing Shoes and Rebecca Gay.  Frozen Paradise and Conglomerate collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Frosty Parradise and Sailing Shoes collided on the home turn.  Sailing Shoes was checked off Rebecca Gay in the home straight.

Beers On Brody was checked off As Only Is on the first turn.  Bomber's Wonder was checked off Miss Never Mind on the first turn checking Beers On Brody and Spark Joy and severely checking Bomber's Wonder and As Only Is, causing As Only Is to fall.  Minter Zoom, Skittle and Miss Never Mind collided on the first turn checking Miss Never Mind.

As Only Is underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right shoulder muscle, right wrist and a spike wound to the right hind foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Bomber's Wonder underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Beau Gem was checked off Bomber's Return approaching the first turn.  Jackson's River was checked off Beau Gem on the first turn.  Jackson's River brushed the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result.  Beau Gem and Madalia Maggie collided on the first turn checking Beau Gem.  Weeona Yoshi, Gypsy Hook and Unsound Mind collided approaching the home turn checking Weeona Yoshi and Unsound Mind and severely checking Gypsy Hook.  Unsound Mind and Madalia Maggie collided approaching the home turn checking Unsound Mind.  Matilda Mikado and Beau Gem collided in the home straight.

Jackson's River underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left quadriceps.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Whodat Dare crossed in soon after the start and collided with Solar Charge.  Gee Dalton, Ninetymile Lenny, Atarah and Fourth Dimention collided soon after the start checking Ninetymile Lenny and severely checking Atarah which faltered and subsequently tailed off.  Solar Charge and Whodat Dare collided approaching the first turn.  Solar Charge, Fourth Dimention and Whodat Dare collided on the first turn severely checking Whodat Dare, checking Fourth Dimention and Gee Dalton.

Atarah underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured toe on the right front foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Atarah - Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound tonight and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Jackson's Valley - Late scratching at 1.28pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr.E.Lieshout was fined $100.
