Steward's Report
Zombie Hunter - Late scratching at 5:22pm under GAR 37 (4) on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Travelling Sands was quick to begin. All Inn Ava and Murder Nova collided soon after the start checking Murder Nova. Darcy's Crystal and Swashbuckler collided on the first turn. Entranced and Travelling Sands collided approaching the home turn. All Inn Ava and Darcy's Crystal collided on the home turn. Swashbuckler raced wide in the home straight.
Murder Nova underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury and a left back muscle injury. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.
Swashbuckler underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right pencil muscle and right triangle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
