Steward's Report
Perfect Chase was slow to begin. Akashi Kid, Hodge's Lane and All Inn Redman collided soon after the start checking Hodge's Lane. Hodge's Lane and All Inn Christy collided approaching the first turn. Akashi Kid and All Inn Redman collided on the first turn checking Akashi Kid. Brylee and Tough Like Atom collided on the first turn. Akashi Kid, Perfect Chase and Jimmy Turbo collided on the first turn checking Jimmy Turbo and severely checking Akashi Kid. Perfect Chase and Jimmy Turbo collided on the home turn, entering the home straight and again in the home straight checking Perfect Chase.
Akashi Kid underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Henness, the handler of Akashi Kid regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn. After reviewing both the side and head on footage, their own observations and Mr Henness submissions, Stewards issued Akashi Kid a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn.
