Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Track Curator Mr. M. Bickerdike advised that the track was medium harrowed on 26/06/20.

Peregrine Speed - In accordance with GAR 73 presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Warragul on 28/05/20.  Peregrine Speed was examined by the on-track Veterinarian and found to be free from injury.  Peregrine Speed was cleared to race. A sample was taken.

Got The Torque - late scratching at 3.23pm when Mr. R. Bean reported the greyhound to have an injured wrist (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Bean the trainer Of Got The Torque regarding the late scratching of the greyhound.  Mr. Bean stated Got The Torque appeared injury free this morning. prior to scratching time but just prior to leaving home he found the greyhound to have an injured wrist.

Remy's Girl was quick to begin.  Hurricane Star was slow to begin.  Zipping Louise, Shy But Savage and Pyrocumulus collided soon after the start.  Hurricane Miss and Zipping Louise collided on the first turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Shy But Savage was checked off Remy's Girl on the home turn checking Shy But Savage and Pyrocumulus.  Zipping Louise and Hurricane Star raced wide in the home straight.

Luna Chick was quick to begin.  Dinkydi Barney was slow to begin.  Blue Tick Erin, Harper's Girl, Hurricane Gypsy, Jakey's Day and Pop Rock collided soon after the start.  Hurricane Gypsy and Ripplebrook Glen collided approaching the first turn severely checking Jakey's Day.  Luna Chick lost ground on the first turn and collided with Blue Tick Erin severely checking Blue Tick Erin, Luna Chick, Hurricane Gypsy and Dinkydi Barney.  Blue Tick Erin raced wide in the home straight.

Luna Chick underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left chest muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Pine Gem, Aston Vuitton and Maximum Jemma collided soon after the start.  Morbius, Pine Gem, Aston Vuitton and Maximum Jemma collided approaching the first turn.  Pine Gem and Maximum Jemma collided on the first turn severely checking Maximum Jemma.  Pine Gem raced wide in the home straight.

Victa Libby was slow to begin.  Roll Your Eyes, Invictus Murray, Zipping Django and Dusty Fever collided soon after the start.  Zipping Django and Darnum Dozer collided on the first turn. Roll Your Eyes was checked off Dusty Fever approaching the home turn.  Victa Libby, Roll Your Eyes, Zipping Django and Darnum Dozer collided on the home turn severely checking Roll Your Eyes.

Roll Your Eyes underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left shoulder muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Whodat Opal underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle and left triangle muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Heidi was quick to begin.  September Dream was slow to begin.  Zipping Kez and Grab That Earn collided approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, causing Zipping Kez to stumble and lose considerable ground.  Inter Vince was checked off Block Star approaching the home turn.  Chicken Schnitty was checked off Butternut on the home turn causing Chicken Schnitty to race wide and stumble.  Heidi and Block Star collided approaching the winning post. 

Zipping Kez underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a sprained left hock and right shoulder muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

I'm The Greatest was slow to begin.  Twelfth Of Never and Mt. View Audrey collided approaching the first turn.  Airly Blueboy, Feel The Thunder and Witchie's Gas collided approaching the first turn checking Feel The Thunder.  Airly Blueboy and I'm The Greatest collided on tne first turn checking both greyhounds.  Mt. View Audrey was checked off Twelfth Of Never on the first turn.  Airly Blueboy and I'm The Greatest collided approaching the home turn checking Airly Blueboy.
