Steward's Report
Eaglehawk Miss - Late scratching at 2:09 pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37), due to a sprain to the right wrist. A seven day stand down period was imposed.
Kentucky Sun underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.
Kentucky Sun was quick to begin. Crackerjack Scot, Cryer's Spring and Maximum Jodie collided approaching the first turn. Don's Scolari and Crackerjack Scot collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Cryer's Spring galloped on Maximum Jodie on the first turn, checking Cryer's Spring, Maximum Jodie and Crackerjack Scot.
Maximum Jodie underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Fast Trapper underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg nail injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
