Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Super Big.
Super Big and Aston Logic collided on the first turn, checking Super Big. Ava's Choice, Aston Logic, Super Big and Winlock Newbolt collided approaching the home turn, checking all four greyhounds. Super Big and Winlock Newbolt collided entering the home straight.
Solar Tiny underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 12. Solar Tiny was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot and left hindleg back muscle injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Victor Millington, the trainer of Solar Tiny, regarding its performance in the home straight. Taking into consideration the injury the greyhound sustained in the event Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Solar Tiny must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
