Steward's Report
Samples were taken from Blackpool Alfie and New For One at the respective Trainers’ kennels earlier today.
A pre-race sample was taken from Speedy Jack.
Gemma Blue and Snooker Que collided soon after the start. Gemma Blue and Speedy Jack collided approaching the first turn. New For One and Umega Bale collided approaching the first turn checking New For One. Blackpool Alfie checked off Pai Gow Poker and collided with Rusty Yaala on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Umega Bale raced wide on the home turn.
Rusty Yaala underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have a spike wound on the left fore foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
