Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Ed Deeds on 17 June 2020, pursuant to GAR 79A.
Blackpool Marvel and Power To Wyn collided soon after the start. Power To Wyn, Beaut Deeds and East Street collided on the first turn, checking East Street. Our Manny and Ed Deeds collided on the first turn, checking Ed Deeds. Blackpool Marvel and Our Manny collided approaching the home turn. Beaut Deeds and Ed Deeds collided entering the home straight.
Supplementary report - Following the meeting held on 25 May 2020, an autopsy was conducted on the greyhound My Mate Didgie, which was pronounced deceased by the On-Track Veterinarian in the catching pen shortly after the running of Race 5. The likely cause of death (from the autopsy) was circulatory collapse. All samples taken were free of prohibited substances.
