Bound To Succeed, Burst The Seam and Bill Bath collided soon after the start, checking Burst The Seam, Bill Bath and Aston Nino. Get Go Boy, Sharky Shark, Big Brebler and Bound To Succeed collided on the first turn, checking Get Go Boy, Sharky Shark and Bound To Succeed. Aston Nino checked off Get Go Boy approaching the home turn, checking Bill Bath; Aston Nino faltered as a result and tailed off. Sharky Shark and Bound To Succeed collided approaching the home turn. Get Go Boy and Bill Bath collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. It was noted that Brace And Bits raced wide throughout the event.
