Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Midnight Force.
Bowled Underarm, Cornish Pixie and Dr. Rozzie collided soon after the start checking Cornish Pixie. Bowled Underarm, Cornish Pixie and Dr. Rozzie collided approaching the first turn checking Lethal Hawk. Permit Granted crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Midnight Force, Bowled Underarm and Bush Martini and severely checking Zulu Walk. Zulu Walk and Bowled Underarm collided several times approaching the second tun checking Zulu Walk. Permit Granted marred Cornish Pixie approaching the third turn causing Cornish Pixie, Permit Granted and Dr, Rozzie to lose considerable ground.
Permit Granted underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Patrick Bull, the trainer of Permit Granted regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the third turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Permit Granted was charged with marring. Mr Bull pleaded guilty to the charge, Permit Granted is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
