Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Rock In Rio shifted in approaching the first turn checking La La Oregon, Captain Chappy and Mountain. Camila, Think Big Harry and Come On Aileen collided on the first turn checking Think Big Harry and Estrella Starr. Captain Chappy galloped on Rock In Rio on the first turn checking Rock In Rio and causing Captain Chappy to race wide. Estrella Starr and La La Oregon collided on the second turn. Camila, Think Big Harry and Come On Aileen collided on the third turn checking Think Big Harry. Estrella Starr and La La Oregon collided approaching the home turn causing La La Oregon to contact the running rail. Think Big Harry checked off Come On Aileen approaching the home turn and collided with Estrella Star. Captain Chappy raced wide on the home turn. 

Motor City Tiger was slow to begin. 

Star Blazer, Carrie and Bag Of Tricks collided soon after the start. Circumstance, Gypsy Zelda, Star Blazer, Carrie, Bag Of Tricks and Luther collided approaching the first turn checking Carrie and causing Gypsy Zelda to fall; Madam Malkin was checked as a result. Bag Of Tricks and Luther collided on the first turn checking Luther and Motor City Tiger. Madam Malkin crossed out and raced wide approaching the second turn. Circumstance tired in the home straight. 

Gypsy Zelda underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Motor City Tiger underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have a left fore split webbing. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Party Lights was quick to begin. Fabriola Citrus was slow to begin. 

Go Quantum, Rose Fawn and Indian Shadow collided approaching the first turn checking Rose Fawn. Yoel Bale, Go Quantum and Indian Shadow collided on the first turn. Go Quantum and Indian Shadow collided approaching the second turn checking Indian Shadow and Helena Ravenclaw. Barooga Dodge checked off Party Lights approaching the second turn and collided with Yoel Bale.

Bowled Underarm, Cornish Pixie and Dr. Rozzie collided soon after the start checking Cornish Pixie. Bowled Underarm, Cornish Pixie and Dr. Rozzie collided approaching the first turn checking Lethal Hawk. Permit Granted crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Midnight Force, Bowled Underarm and Bush Martini and severely checking Zulu Walk. Zulu Walk and Bowled Underarm collided several times approaching the second tun checking Zulu Walk. Permit Granted marred Cornish Pixie approaching the third turn causing Cornish Pixie, Permit Granted and Dr, Rozzie to lose considerable ground. 

Permit Granted underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr Patrick Bull, the trainer of Permit Granted regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the third turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Permit Granted was charged with marring. Mr Bull pleaded guilty to the charge, Permit Granted is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rockstar Melody – Late scratching at 6.39pm on 16 June 2020 when trainer, Mrs Andrea Dailly reported the greyhound to have a tendon injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Smokey Renn was slow to begin. 

Spring Party and Smokey Renn collided soon after the start. Chief's Magic shifted in on the first turn checking Legasov Bale, Chief's Magic and Spring Party and severely checking Smokey Renn and Sparky Girl. Big Papi brushed the running rail approaching the second turn. Big Papi and Spring Party collided on the third turn. 

Chief's Magic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both triangle muscles. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mississippi Mud clipped the heels of Angie Ling approaching the first turn. Angie Ling, Meehan Poppy and Snake Pit Lass collided on the first turn checking Meehan Poppy. Meehan Poppy, Buddy Boy Turbo and Polly's Yohanna collided on the first turn. Angie Ling and Snake Pit Lass collided entering the front straight severely checking Snake Pit Lass. Muzza Keeping raced wide in the front straight. Angie Ling and Buddy Boy Turbo collided approaching the second turn. Muzza Keeping checked off Polly's Yohanna on the second turn and raced wide. Angie Ling and Polly's Yohanna collided approaching the third turn. Angie Ling raced wide on the home turn. Meehan Poppy clipped the heels of Snake Pit Lass entering the home straight.

Malayah Bale went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Sweet Demi checked off All Show on the first turn and collided with Red Hot Tears checking All Show and Red Hot Tears. Estside checked off All Show on the second turn.

Idria Bale was quick to begin. Ernesto Bale was slow to begin. 

Fernando Porche, Route Sixty Six and Barefoot Barry collided approaching the first turn checking Route Sixty Six and severely checking Ernesto Bale. Close Encounter and Ernesto Bale collided on the first turn. Beatrice and Close Encounter collided on the first turn checking Close Encounter and Route Sixty Six. Route Sixty Six galloped on Ernesto Bale in the back straight checking Ernesto Bale. 

Kindra, Wise Storm and Franco Fernando collided soon after the start. Franco Fernando crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Wise Storm, Kindra and Quattro Miss. Franco Fernando checked off Curly Top on the second turn. Brad keeping tired in the concluding stages.

Brad Keeping underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury and a spike wound on the right paw. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Barcia Prince underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Do A Runner shifted out soon after the start and causing Tiggerlong Ginga and Ashley's Entity to collide. Capra and Abelero Bale collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Do A Runner and Tiggerlong Ginga collided on the first turn. Capra checked off Bees And Honey on the first turn and collided with Abelero Bale. Do A Runner and Tiggerlong Ginga collided on the first turn. Capra and Do A Runner collided approaching the second turn. Capra and Ashley's Entity collided several times approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Bees And Honey checked off Iago Bale approaching the home turn. Capra underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have an abrasion on the right hind tibia. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Jallissa – Late scratching at 6.45am when trianer, Ms Jennifer Gill reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Ayo Joy– Late scratching at 12.27am when trianer, Mr John Frewin reported the greyhound to have a thigh injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
