Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Tregunna, Hurricane Sue, Snapper Kyle and Hurricane Gypsy were slow to begin.

Jonah Alcatraz crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Hurricane Gypsy, Our Girl Daisy and Hurricane Sue; severely checking Berry Boomer. Hurricane Sue and Snapper Kyle collided approaching the 200m mark checking Hurricane Sue. Snapper Kyle crossed to the outside and collided with Hurricane Gypsy several times from approaching the 150m mark to approaching the 100m mark checking Hurricane Gypsy. Berry Boomer and Jonah Alcatraz collided approaching the 100m mark and again at the 100m mark checking both greyhounds. Berry Boomer, Jonah Alcatraz and Our Girl Daisy collided at the 50m mark. Berry Boomer checked off Jonah Alcatraz approaching the winning post.

Inter Cody and By Your Side collided approaching the 250m mark checking By Your Side and Diamond Bling. Love A Talk and Bit Fancy collided at the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Love A Talk and Bit Fancy collided at the 50m mark. Inter Cody crossed to the outside approaching the winning post checking Landslide.

Headwall and Evolution collided soon after the start. Duke Of Burnley and Harvey Warbanger collided soon after the start. Superior Breeze and Aston Bintang collided approaching the 250m mark. Superior Breeze and Aston Bintang collided approaching the 100m mark checking Superior Breeze.

A sample was taken from Peter Galo upon arrival at the course.

Tubark and Sparkle Motion collided approaching the 250m mark. Tubark checked off Sparkle Motion at the 200m mark. Tubark raced wide from the 150m mark to the winning post. Peter Galo and Sparkle Motion collided at the 100m mark.

Emerley Express was very slow to begin - 6 lengths.

Jaimandy Jester crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Mepunga Maggie and He's An Ace. Mepunga Maggie checked off He's An Ace at the 150m mark. Mepunga Maggie and Jaimandy Jester collieded at the 100m mark. 

Emerley Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left deltiod muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Post-race samples were taken from Flossing (1st) & Big Bazza (2nd).

Tiny Shiny crossed to the outside soon after the start. Vonn and Superior Kiki collided at the 150m mark checking Vonn, Superior Kiki and As Only Is. My Girl Mel and As Only Is collided at the 150m mark. Earn The Magic and Vonn collided several times from the 150m mark to the 50m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr Clint Leviston, the Handler of As Only Is after he momentarily lost control of the greyhound behind the starting boxes. Stewards issued Mr Leviston with a warning on this occasion and reminded him to ensure he has proper control of his greyhounds at all times in future. Pursuant to GAR 27 (1).

Superior Charry was slow to begin.

Fly By Them checked off Lektra Elsa at the 200m mark. Lektra Elsa raced wide from the 150m mark to the winning post.

A sample was taken from Tamou Bale upon arrival at the course.

Magic Mamba – New declared weight of 33.0kg, last raced at 31.8kg.

Tamou Bale and Magic Mamba collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Blue Larrikin and Electric Mick collided at the 250m mark.

Tim Tam Sam underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request and was found to have minor abrasion to the front right paw. No stand down period was imposed.

Buddy Blinx was slow to begin.

Rotarua and Buddy Blinx collided approaching the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Rotarua and Ruby's Boy collided at the 50m mark.

Expense Eve underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported.
