Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Tango Icon and Aston  Ryker collided on the first turn checking Vin Joel, Roots Rock Riot and Tango Icon. Tango Icon and Grawlix collided on the home turn checking Vin Joel, Tango Icon and Grawlix. Aston Ryker checked off Devil's Disguise in the home straight checking Ava's Choice. Ava's Choice and Aston Ryker collided several times approaching the winning post.

Gotta Exceed went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin (3 Lengths).

Fairytale Ending, Winsome Express and Sense collided soon after the start checking Fairytale Ending and Winsome Express. Fairytale Ending, Gotta Exceed and Sense collided on the first turn checking Winsome Express and Gotta Exceed. Sense checked off Fairytale Ending on the home turn. 

Sense underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have general soreness to the left back muscle. No stand down period was imposed.

Charlie Checker was quick to begin.

Gotta Place was slow to begin.

Kraken Lightning, Tat Warby and Revelation collided on the first turn checking Kraken Lightning, Tat Warby, Revelation and Mohinga Chase. Kraken Lightning and Tat Warby collided entering the home straight. 

All Inn Ava was slow to begin. 

Cavernando and All Inn Ava collided on the first turn. Man Absconded and Untold Soldier collided on the first turn. 

Back A Roughy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 7. Back A Roughy was found to have a right groin muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Ride Along and Serengeti Icon collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Stellar Rising visibly eased on the first turn. Special Drop checked off Eddie in the back straight checking Stellar Rising, Blue Shadows and Ride Along. Serengeti Icon checked off Quattro Miss on the second turn. 

Stellar Rising underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness in both hips, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer,  Mr Walter Methven, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Stellar Rising was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Methven pleaded guilty to the charge, Stellar Rising must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Taken and Vapour Blaze collided approaching the first turn. Taken and Vapour Blaze collided on the first turn checking Show Of Force and Vapour Blaze. There's A Catch and Don't Argue Love collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Don't Argue Love checked off Vapour Blaze on the home turn.

Tinker Craig, Sparky Girl, Aston Dynamo, Benchester, Love Heart and Aston Pirate collided approaching the first turn checking Tinker Craig, Sparky Girl, Aston Dynamo, Benchester, Love Heart and Brylee. Tinker Craig and Sparky Girl collided on the first turn checking Tinker Craig and Brylee. Zemira Mikado and Sparky Girl collided in the home straight.

All Inn Deeds was slow to begin. 

Lance Link and Slingshot Titan collided soon after that start checking Lance Link. Lucille Dior, Rilynn Bale, Hodge's Lane and Slingshot Titan collided on the first turn checking Lucille Dior and Rilynn Bale and severley checking Lance Link and Midnight Storm; Midnight Storm fell as a result. 

Lance Link underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind foot. No stand down period was imposed. 

Midnight Storm underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Miss Never Mind checked off Amy Amour on the first turn. Doran's Call, Ginny Woolf and Amy Amour collided on the first turn checking Amy Amour and severely checking Miss Never Mind and Ginny Woolf. Take A Rose and Fawn Regrets collided entering the home straight.

Glayva, Kareda Gold, Unsolved Mystery and Winlock Homes collided on the first turn checking Kareda Gold and Unsolved Mystery. Winlock Homes checked off All Inn Christy on the home turn.
