Lektra Elsa and Dancing Rose collided soon after the start. Lottie Biscotti, Lektra Elsa and Dancing Rose collided approaching the 200m mark. Beers On Brody and Lottie Biscotti collided several times from approaching the 150m mark to the 100m mark checking Winlock Squints. Lektra Elsa and Dancing Rose collided several times at the 150m mark. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Cullquin Panda. 

Mr Robert Palmer was reminded of his responsibilities to ensure he checks his allocated kennel number after the greyhound Sailing Shoes was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.  

Sailing Shoes, Cullquin Panda and Usain Spolly collided soon after the start. Inter Mimi faltered at the 250m mark and subsequently pulled up. 

Inter Mimi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right triangle muscle and right grouin. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Lights Of Tanjil – Late scratching at 7.27am when trainer, Mr Trevor Whitford reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zambora Andy - Late scratching at 10.36am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to dehydration. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Monkey Mite. 

Sonny Micawber checked off Monkey Mite at the 50m mark. 

Make A Pat was quick to begin. Empire Baz crossed in soon after the start. Warm Beer and Heeza Nippa collided at the 300m mark. Petra Bale and Empire Baz collided at the 250m mark. Heeza Nippa and Crazy Jake collided at the 200m mark. Warm Beer and Make A Pat collided approaching the winning post.

Bit Fancy was slow to begin.  Good Mate Rusty stumbled at box rise.

Meehan Pabbles, Just Love and Bit Fancy collided soon after the start checking Just Love. Bit Fancy and Just Love collided at the 250m mark. Meehan Pabbles and Good Mate Rusty collided at the 200m mark. Just Love and Bit Fancy collided at the 175m mark. Meehan Pebbles crossed to the outside at the 150m mark checking Good Mate Rusty and Crazy Old Fool.

Alfie's Affair and Inter Cody collided soon after the start. Grace Intention and What's His Caper collided at the 300m mark checking Grace Intention which lost ground as a result. Alfie's Affair and Inter Cody collided at the 250m mark. 

Grace Intention underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Harley Merrett and Holly's Affair collided soon after the start. Especial Empire and Maximum Trina collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark. Harley Merrett checked off Holly's Affair at the 100m mark.

Keepsake Dolly underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
