An out of competition sample was taken from Ingenuity on 29 November, 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Gino Gambino and Cornhill Tiger were slow to begin.  Stirling Lights checked off Aston Cade soon after the start.  Greatest Showman, Ingenuity and Nessa's Yasmin collided approaching the first turn checking Greatest Showman.  Aston Cade and Ingenuity collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Stirling Lights, Nessa's Yasmin, Greatest Showman and Gino Gambino collided on the first turn checking Greatest Showman in turn severely checking Nessa's Yasmin.  Aston Cade crossed to the outside approaching the second turn checking Ingenuity and Gino Gambino.  Nessa's Yasmin and Greatest Showman collided on the second turn.  Stirling Lights checked off Gino Gambino on the second turn.  Ingenuity checked off Gino Gambino entering the back straight.  Ingenuity checked off Gino Gambino on the home turn checking Stirling Lights and Greatest Showman.  Stirling Lights and Greatest Showman collided approaching the winning post.

Couture and Vigorous were slow to begin.  Vigorous checked off Why Not Luv soon after the start checking Sprightly Bro. Couture, Vigorous and Sprightly Bro collided on the first turn checking Couture and Vigorous.  Why Not Luv and Baby Eden collided on the first turn.  Moraine Rosie checked off Run Baba Run on the first turn checking Why Not Luv.  Baby Eden checked off Why Not Luv entering the back straight.  Moraine Rosie checked off Why Not Luv in the back straight.  Couture checked off Vigorous on the third turn and again on the home turn.  Moraine Rosie marred the running of Sprightly Bro in the home straight checking Baby Eden in turn severely checking Sprightly Bro.

Moraine Rosie underwent a post-race veterinary examination.  It was reported the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr. S Elsum, the trainer of Moraine Rosie regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Moraine Rosie was charged with marring. Mr. S Elsum pleaded guilty to the charge.  Moraine Rosie is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Say Hi underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Summer Girl was quick to begin. Looming Lara and Mepunga Frankie collided soon after the start. Cabin Fever, Blue Fabianna, Living Daylights, and Nicmac Paddywack collided approaching the first turn, checking Blue Fabianna and Living Daylights. Looming Lara checked off Red Rochelle on the first turn. Cabin Fever and Red Rochelle collided approaching the second turn. Looming Lara raced wide in the front straight. Summer Girl and Red Rochelle collided on the third turn. Mepunga Frankie and Summer Girl collided on the home turn.

Ernesto Bale was slow to begin. Extra Speed crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Zipping Clive. Chief Fernando, Welsly Bale, and Chun Li collided approaching the first turn severely checking Welsly Bale which stumbled. Vesper Bale and Chief Fernando collided on the second turn checking Chief Fernando and Zipping Clive. Ernesto Bale checked off Callister on the third turn checking Welsly Bale. Chun Li and Extra Speed collided in the home straight.

A post race sample was taken from Vesper Bale - winner of the event. 

A pre race sample was taken from Rockstar Melody.

Lonnie Mach, Rockstar Prince, Rockstar Beav, and Ash Star collided soon after the start checking Rockstar Prince and Rockstar Beav. Rockstar Melody, Lonnie Mach, and King Colt collided on the first turn checking Rockstar Melody, King Colt, Midnight Titan, and Rockstar Prince. Lonnie Mach and Tauwitchere collided on the fourth turn.

A pre race sample was taken from Seve Rose.

Hadarah Bale was slow to begin. Seve Rose and Nordegren collided soon after the start checking Nordegren. Folding Green faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off. Super Blu and Havana Miss collided on the first turn. Mepunga Debbie and Havana Miss collided on the third turn. Hadarah Bale checked off Mepunda Debbie approaching the fourth turn. Mepunga Debbie and Havana Miss collided on the fifth turn. Seve Rose and Hadarah Bale collided on the fifth turn. Seve Rose and Havana Miss collided on the home turn. Hadarah Bale and Super Blu collided on the home turn. Super Blue tired in the concluding stages and collided iwth Nordegren.

Folding Green underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Super Blue underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A pre race sample was taken from Benali.

Benali and Weeona Bulldozer were slow to begin.

Max Tractor and Lucy's Milo collided approaching the first turn.  Max Tractor and Benali collided on the first turn checking Benali.

Grudge crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Koenigsegg One and Dyna Yappy, and severely checcking Shadow Mist. Dyna Yappy and Double Tactic collided approaching the first turn. Rock Me David crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Ledgerwood Libby, Grudge, Double Tactic, and Kraken Bam Bam. Dyna Yappy and Double Tactic collided on the first turn checking Double Tactic and causing Dyna Yappy to fall. Shadow Mist and Kraken Bam Bam collided in the back straight. Koenigsegg One and Kraken Bam Bam collided several times on the home turn checking Koenigsegg One and Grudge. 

Amended Report 4/12/2019

Dyna Yappy, which was vetted subsequent to the race, was not entered in the report on race night. Dr M Bell vetted the greyhound on race night and it was reported that Dyna Yappy sustained no apparent injury.

Weeona Pete stumbled at box rise.  Lady Emerald and Charlie Cockatoo collided soon after the start.  Weeona Pete and Kilpatrick collided soon after the start.  Dyna Aakil and Charlie Cockatoo collided on the first turn.  Lady Emerald and Nunniong Plain collided on the first turn.  Weeona Pete checked off Lady Emerald approaching the second turn.  Nunniong Plain checked off Charlie Cockatoo on the second turn.  She's An Earn and Kilpatrick collided on the third turn.  Weeona Pete and Lady Emerald collided approaching the home turn.  Nunniong Plain checked off Lady Emerald on the home turn checking Kilpatrick and She's An Earn.

My Word Shirley was slow to begin.  

My Dewana Penny and Mogo Jet collided soon after the start.  Cosmic Sparkle and Madam Rosmerta collided soon after the start.  My Dewana Penny, Dyna Virion, For The Alliance and Mogo Jet collided on the first turn checking My Dewana Penny and Mogo Jet.  Ma's Plum Jam and Madam Rosmerta collided on the first turn.  For The Alliance checked off Mogo Jet on the first turn.  Dyna Virion and Madam Rosmerta collided entering the back straight.  My Dewana Penny checked off Cosmic Sparkle on the third turn checking Mogo Jet.  My World Shirley and Madam Rosmerta collided approaching the home turn checking Madam Rosmerta.  Cosmic Sparkle, Madam Rosmerta, My Dewana Penny, For The Alliance and Mogo Jet collided on the home turn checking Cosmic Sparkle, Madam Rosmerta and Mogo Jet.

Mitch Bale was slow to begin.

Valletta Sky crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Just Burning, Origami Angel, Dyna Yardo and Cee Me Snoop.  Mitch Bale checked off Rippa Regis approaching the first turn.  Just Burning, Origami Angel, Dyna Yardo, Cee Me Snoop, Special Kirst and Mitch Bale collided on the first turn checking Just Burning and Origami Angel.  Dyna Yardo and Cee Me Snoop collided approaching the second turn checking Cee Me Snoop, Special Kirst and Mitch Bale.  Dyna Yardo, Origami Angel and Cee Me Snoop collided in the back straight checking Dyna Yardo and Cee Me Snoop.  Special Kirst, Rippa Regis and Origami Angel collided approaching the home turn checking Rippa Regis.  Dyna Yardo and Rippa Regis collided on the home turn.  Just Burning checked off Cee Me Snoop on the home turn.  Rippa Regis checked off Mitch Bale entering the home straight.  Cee Me Snoop checked off Dyna Yardo in the home straight.

Rippa Regis underwent a post-race veterinary examination.  It was reported the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Stewards interviewed licensed persons - Ms L Smith and Mr B George following an incident in the vicinity of the trainer's carpark following the running of Event 10.  After taking evidence from both parties, Stewards took no action in the matter other than to remind them of their responsibilities as licensed persons of GRV.
