In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 25.6 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.7 degrees.

Quick Express and Oriental Gale were slow to begin. Ishmy Neecy and Sylvia's Delight collided soon after the start checking Ishmy Neecy. Quick Express and Oriental Gale collided approaching the first turn checking Quick Express and Sylvia's delight. Sylvia's Delight crossed to the outside on the first turn and raced wide. Ishmy Neecy raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Barellan Rae and Oriental Gale collided entering the home straight. Sylvia's Delight raced wide in the home straight.

Tuesday's Gone was quick to begin. Husky Freckle and Shae's Pickles were slow to begin. Shae's Pickles and Oriental Sugar collided soon after the start checking Oriental Sugar. Lucky Shiraz and Oriental Sugar collided on the first turn. Tarra Rocket raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Cryptic and Akoya were quick to begin. Mr. Daver, Zeal Of Approval and All Inn Mia collided approaching the first turn. Aston Zephyr checked off All Inn Mia on the first turn. Midnight Shiraz crossed to the outside on the first turn and lost ground. Zeal Of Approval raced wide in the home straight.

Midnight Shiraz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

College Prince was quick to begin. Harston Flare and College Prince collided soon after the start. Aston Ultra galloped on All Inn Turbo approaching the first turn and stumbled as a result checking College Prince, Riverside Dash and Toolleen Town.

Shimando galloped on Typhoon Tessie on the first turn checking Typhoon Tessie and severely checking Shimando and Amy Amour.

Rio Mia - Late scratching at 17:21 due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Chiseller was quick to begin. Golden Shiraz and Erolo Bale were slow to begin. Big Artie Banner and mighty Max Gone collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Chiseller raced wide on the first turn.

Lil Gus was quick to begin. Lil Gus and Mist collided approaching the first turn. Aston Soho checked off Shock Value on the first turn. Rio hustler checked off Shock Value on the first turn checking Aston Soho and Rio Dixie. No Room and Lana's Image collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.
