Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Aston Perignon on 22 November, 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Shanlyn Dean, No More Partying and Staggerism collided soon after the start checking No More Partying which stumbled as a result. Shanlyn Deano and Wonderful World checked off Father Phevos approaching the first turn. Father Phevos and Aston Perignon collided approaching the first turn. Easy Choice, Wonderful World and Rock and Roll collided approaching the first turn. Father Phevos marred Aston Perignon on the first turn. No More Partying and Aston Perignon collided in the back sraight. No More Partying and Father Phevos collided approaching the home turn.
Father Phevos was underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr G Neocleous, the trainer of Father Phevos regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1), Father Phevos was charged with marring. Mr G Neocleous pleaded not guilty to the charge. Father Phevos was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown Park and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
