Steward's Report
Resounding and Delusional Fab were slow to begin.
Resounding brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. Resounding and Delusional Fab collided on the first turn, checking Delusional Fab. Winlock Winner checked off Zambora Bear in the home straight.
Resounding underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Ronald Gilliland, the trainer of Resounding, regarding the greyhound performing below market expectations. Mr Gilliland stated that he was disappointed in the overall performance of the greyhound in today's event. Mr Gilliland added that, in his opinion, Resounding was rising in grade and the fact that the greyhound contacted the running rail in the back straight may have also contributed to it's performance. Stewards noted his comments and took no further action.
