Awesome Arby and Anyone Aby collided at the 250m mark. Chill Out Fordy checked off Kristy Koi at the 250m mark checking On Patrol and Awesome Arby. Chill Out Fordy and Dinkydi Sweetie collided at the 200m mark. Awesome Arby and On Patrol collided at the 100m mark and again at the 50m mark checking both greyhounds. Kristy Koi galloped on One Eyed Bandit at the 50m mark checking Kristy Koi.  

No Problem John and Ben Doon collided soon after the start. Staggermite, Bruno He Mikado and Coyote Ugly collided soon after the start. Hello Goodnight and Bruno He Mikado collided at the 150m mark. Bruno He Mikado checked off Rocky Infrared approaching the100m mark. Bruno He Mikado and Rocky Infrared collided at the 50m mark. Staggermite turned its head to the outside and visibly eased approaching the winning post. 

Staggermite underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Colin Dalton, the trainer of Staggermite regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Staggermite was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Dalton pleaded guilty to the charge, Staggermite is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aurora Prince and Monaco Lights collided soon after the start checking Aurora Prince. What A Kicker and Mighty Tracey collided soon after the start. Monaco Lights crossed to the outside soon after the start. Awakened Dragon and Mightry Tracey collided several times from the 250m mark to the 150m mark checking Awakened Dragon. What A Kicker and Rattle Can You collided at the 200m mark. What A Kicker, Rattle Can You and Monaco Lights collided approaching the 150m mark. What A Kicker and Rattle Can You collided approaching the 50m mark and again at the 50m mark. 

Spritely Too and Inter Cody collided soon after the start. Osiris Child and Toby Sure colided soon after the start. Speedy Spyro and Inter Lana collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark. Atarah crossed to the rail approaching the 200m mark and collided with Inter Lana and Speedy Spyro, checking Inter Lana and Atarah. Speedy Spyro and Atarah collided approaching the 150m mark. Sateesha crossed to the rail at the 150m mark. Speedy Spyro and Sateesha collided at the 100m mark and again approaching the 50m mark.

Hollywood Donuts and Blue Cigar collided soon after the start checking Hollywood Donuts. Ocean Master and Lightning Artist collided soon after the start. Sam I'm Mikado and Ocean Master collided at the 300m mark checking Sam I'm Mikado and Maybe Hostile. Maybe Hostile, Sam I'm Mikado and Ocean Master collided at the 250m mark checking Sam I'm Mikado. Maybe Hostile checked off Ocean Master approaching the 200m mark and crossed out, checking Sam I'm Mikado.

She's My Blast was quick to begin. Jacobite Hammer was slow to begin. Alfie Mikado and Unsound Mind collided soon after the start. Alfie Mikado, Unsound Mind and Chill Out Webby collided at the 300m mark. Alfie Mikado crossed to the outside at the 250m mark and raced wide for the remainder of the event. Chill Out Webby checked off Unsound Mind at the 200m mark. Unsound Mind and All You Got collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds. 

Jacobite Joseph was slow to begin. 

Dirty Max and Lightning Parade collided soon after the start. Ice Cool Kaedyn crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Lighting Parade. 

Ride High – New declared weight of 32.4kg, last raced at 33.5kg.

Ride High and Lumen Nation collided soon after the start. Banyuatis crossed to the outside at the 250m mark checking Ride High. Lumen Nation and Zipping Benny collided at the 250m mark. Ride High and Lumen Nation collided at the 200m mark checking Lumen Nation. 

Time Twister was slow to begin.

Destini Agitator and Challis Magic collided soon after the start. Red Queen checked off Superior Uno at the 250m mark. Challis Magic and Superior Uno collided at the 200m mark. Superior Uno checked off Dragonstone approaching the 150m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Down Mexico Way.

Down Mexico Way and Farfella Nera collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark. Farfella Nera faltered approaching the 200m mark. Lektra Elsa crossed out at the 100m mark checking Knocka Feller and severely checking Small Rose which stumbled as a result. 

Farfella Nera underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right back muscle and right wrist. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mrs Andrea Condon after she negligently failed to catch the greyhound Knocka Feller in this event, pursuant to GAR 86(o).

A pre-race sample was taken from My Names Rhonda.

Tiggy Buzzard and Run Maggie Run collided soon after the start checking Tiggy Buzzard. My Names Rhonda and Jacobite Joseph collided at the 250m mark checking Jacobite Joseph. Dan's Hopeful and Tiggy Buzzard collided at the 150m mark. Jacobite Joseph crossed to the rail at the 100m mark. Sweet Ambush marred Doran's Call at the 50m mark. Sweet Ambush and Doran's Call collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds. 

Sweet Ambush underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Sweet Ambush was charged with marring. Mr Maxwell pleaded guilty to the charge, Sweet Ambush is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
