Terren's Close was quick to begin. Tink, Fierce An' Fancy, Jeda's Girl and Aston Kenji collided soon after the start checking Tink. Meehan Louie and Curiouser collided approaching the first turn. Fierce An' Fancy, Jeda's Girl, Aston Kenji and Refresh collided on the first turn checking Jeda's Girl severely checking Aston Kenji and Refresh.
Aston Kenji underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
