Lyndawn's Rose was quick to begin.  Lockwood Lad and Lamotta were slow to begin.  Lockwood Lad, Flywheel Frankey and Lyndawn's Rose collided on the first turn severely checking Flywheel Frankey and checking Lamotta and Akina Blaze.  Lockwood Lad galloped on Aston Alessio on the first turn checking Lockwood Lad and severely checking Aston Alessio.  Lamotta and Input Girl collided on the first turn.  Aston Alessio checked off Lamotta approaching the home turn; Aston Alessio lost ground as a result.  Akina Blaze checked off Lamotta on the home turn.  Akina Blaze raced wide in the home straight.

Aston Alessio underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race sample was taken from Southern Meteor.

Gypsy Hook and Inuka were quick to begin.  Southern Meteor and Stormcast collided soon after the start.  Skittle and Inuka collided approaching the first turn checking Inuka and causing Inuka and Stormcast to collide.  Southern Meteor and Skittle collided several times in the home straight.

Southern Meteor underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Klemke, the trainer of Southern Meteor and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight and approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was taken from Sheer Bliss.

Dr.Puma was quick to begin. Akina Archer was slow to begin.

Nicholas Rose and Ice Skates collided soon after the start. Nicholas Archer and Marsha collided on the first turn checking Marsha, causing Skip A Yonnie to check off Marsha: Skip A Yonnie stumbled and lost ground as a result. Dr.Puma and Nicholas Rose collided in the home straight.

Matilda Hook was quick to begin.  Coco Jumbo, Scorching Ember, Kindra and Quick Paws collided soon after the start checking Kindra, causing Kindra to check off Blazing Flora.  Quick Paws and Velocity Sunrise collided on the first turn checking Velocity Sunrise.  Scorching Ember and Blazing Flora collided approaching the home turn.  Quick Paws and Kindra collided approaching the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Matilda Hook - the winner of the event.

Terren's Close was quick to begin.  Tink, Fierce An' Fancy, Jeda's Girl and Aston Kenji collided soon after the start checking Tink.  Meehan Louie and Curiouser collided approaching the first turn.  Fierce An' Fancy, Jeda's Girl, Aston Kenji and Refresh collided on the first turn checking Jeda's Girl severely checking Aston Kenji and Refresh.

Aston Kenji underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Frost Us and Head Loch were quick to begin.  Lochinvar Deus and Rocket Strike were slow to begin.  Head Loch, Up And About, Kingfisher Rose and Broken Pieces collided on the first turn checking Broken Pieces.  Lochinvar Deus and Broken Pieces collided entering the back straight checking Broken Pieces and causing Rocket Strike and Broken Pieces to collide.  Head Loch checked off Frost us on the first turn causing Head Loch and Kingfisher Rose to collide.  Head Loch checked off Lochinvar Deus on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Loufie - the winner of the event.

Lorenza, Gunmetal Liam, Soda Maxi and Aston Lagonda collided soon after the start checking Lorenza, Gunmetal Liam and Aston Lagonda causing Gunmetal Liam to check off Lorenza.  Percy's Curse and Little Women collided approaching the home turn.  Kraken Champ checked off Percy's Curse entering the home straight.

Gunmetal Liam underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Weeona Gina, Lottie Biscotti, Duke Of Airly and Marcello collided soon after the start.  Secret Service and Weeona Gina collided approaching the first turn checking Secret Service causing Secret Service and Lottie Biscotti to collide.  John's Last and Marcello collided on the first turn.  Lottie Biscotti checked off Secret Service approaching the home turn.  Hot Pies crossed wide in the home straight and checked off John's Last.

River Bank was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Akina Error and Coco Baroque collided soon after the start.  Rosie Glenda and Sixteen Pegs collided approaching the first turn.  Ballymac Pirate and Sixteen Pegs collided on the first turn checking Ballymac Pirate causing Ballymac Pirate and Coco Baroque to collide; Ballymac Pirate commenced to lose ground from the first turn.  Akina Error, Rosie Glenda and River Bank collided on the first turn.  Ballymac Pirate, River Bank and Stylish Missile collided approaching the home turn.  Ballymac Pirate and Rosie Glenda collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Akina Error and River Bank collided entering the home straight.

Ballymac Pirate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Macs Road, Master Zemnick, Aeroplane Tippa, Minter Bee Star and Airly Spence collided approaching the first turn.  Musketeer Oasis and Master Zemnick collided on the first turn checking Master Zemnick.  Ishmy Lady and Jessie's Star collided on the first turn.  Aeroplane Tippa and Macs Road collided in the back straight.  Jessie's Star faltered on the second turn.

Jessie's Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
