Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Aston Alessio, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Lyndawn's Rose was quick to begin. Lockwood Lad and Lamotta were slow to begin. Lockwood Lad, Flywheel Frankey and Lyndawn's Rose collided on the first turn severely checking Flywheel Frankey and checking Lamotta and Akina Blaze. Lockwood Lad galloped on Aston Alessio on the first turn checking Lockwood Lad and severely checking Aston Alessio. Lamotta and Input Girl collided on the first turn. Aston Alessio checked off Lamotta approaching the home turn; Aston Alessio lost ground as a result. Akina Blaze checked off Lamotta on the home turn. Akina Blaze raced wide in the home straight.
Aston Alessio underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
