What Price and Cawbourne Scar were slow to begin.
What Price checked off Houlio on the first turn. Razor Sharp and Daniel Avocado approaching the home turn, checking Razor Sharp. Razor Sharp and Cawbourne Scar collided on the home turn.
Razor Sharp underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr J Thompson regarding the performance of the greyhound in this event. Acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards requested Mr J Thompson to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Razor Sharp in the event which was not noted by Stewards or the veterinarian during or immediately after the event.
