The Stewards continued with an inquiry into the withdrawal of She Will Bloom (1) from the TopGun Stayers Final, that occurred early on Thursday morning. The Stewards attended the property later that day with a GRV Industry Veterinarian which confirmed the injury to the right shoulder, as reported. A sample was also taken at the time. This evening, the Stewards spoke with the Trainer of Just Terms (9), Mr Anthony Azzopardi and further adjourned the matter for consideration.

On the 6th November an out of competition sample was taken from Blue Moon Rising, pursuant to GAR 79A.

On the 7th November an out of competition sample was taken from She Will Bloom, Tornado Tears, Blue Shadows, Rajasthan, Boom Down, Just Terms and Annie Lava, pursuant to GAR 79A.

On the 8th November an out of competition sample was taken from Radar Gunn, pursuant to GAR 79A.

A sample was taken from Bago Bye Bye upon arrival at the course.

Rajasthan was quick to begin.  Boom Down was slow to begin.  Tornado Tears and Bago Bye Bye collided on the first turn.  Blue Shadows, Blue Moon Rising and Radar Gunn collided on the first turn checking Radar Gunn.  Tornado Tears checked off Bago Bye Bye approaching the third turn.  Radar Gunn brushed the running rail on the third turn.  Boom Down and Blue Shadows collided on the third turn.  Blue Moon Rising checked off Tornado Tears approaching the fourth turn.  Tornado Tears, Rajasthan and Bago Bye Bye collided several times approaching the fifth turn and again on the fifth turn checking Bago Bye Bye and Rajasthan, severely checking Tornado Tears and Radar Gunn.  Tornado Tears contacted the running rail as a result.  Bago Bye Bye and Just Terms collided approaching the home turn and collided with Rajasthan.  Boom Down and Bago Bye Bye collided approaching the home turn.  Bago Bye Bye and Rajasthan collided on the home turn.  Blue Shadows checked off Radar Gunn on the home turn.

Blue Shadows was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to representative of the Blue Shadows, Mr J Britton, regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the back straight. Mr Britton stated that once the greyhound did not lead in the event, he expected the Blue Shadows to run last, and that he was pleased the greyhound made ground in the concluding stages. Stewards accepted Mr Britton's explanation, however requested him to inform the stewards acting under GAR 75 (1) to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Blue Shadows in the event which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
