Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter Mr. R. Glass and Parade Steward Mr. G. Glass did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Braeside and Aston Antoine collided approaching the first turn. Xenophilius checked off Paint Peeler on the first turn. Xenophilius and Paint Peeler collided approaching the home turn. Dr. Edward galloped on the heels of Annie Rocks on the home turn severely checking Claydon, Annie Rocks and Dr. Edward and causing Annie Rocks to fall. Braeside and Xenophilius collided entering the home straight. Claydon checked off Paint Peeler in the home straight.
Annie Rocks underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a back injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Dr. Edward underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
Mr. Ned McDonald failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Annie Rocks for racing. Mr. McDonald was fined $100 pursuant to GAR 46(2).
