Steward's Report
Sharni's My Girl – Late scratching at 8.38am when Mr D. Knocker reported the greyhound to have a wrist injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards spoke with Mr. Knocker regarding the circumstances surrounding the late scratching of the greyhound and accepted his explanation. No further action was taken.
Henessey Venom was quick to begin. Soda Flakes was slow to begin.
Sanjiro and Atlantic Jewel collided soon after the start. Sanjiro and Soda Flakes collided on the first turn. Cranberry Miss checked off Better Watch Out on the second turn. Soda Flakes raced wide throughout the event.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr G. Burns for his failure to arrange a catcher for his greyhound Sanjiro engaged in this event pursuant to GAR 48.
