Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Busy Time upon arrival at the course.
Neymar Junior and Capra collided soon after the start checking Capra. Neymar Junior raced wide approaching the first turn and on the first turn. Thriving and Busy Time collided approaching the first turn checking Thriving. Xella Bale, Lady Luna and Aston Vuitton collided on the first turn checking Lady Luna and Aston Vuitton. Capra and Thriving collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lady Luna and Aston Vuitton collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds; Lady Luna lost ground and subsequentially tailed off.
Lady Luna underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined. Lady Luna was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Robert Redenbach, the trainer of Lady Luna regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Lady Luna must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
