Chart Topper, Daisy Mac and Happy Hannah collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Chart Topper and Bravery collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.

Captain Chappy crossed towards the rail on the first turn checking Zipping Hunter and Diamond Cartel. Rose Fawn and G'day Muscles collided on the first turn. Zipping Hunter, Diamond Cartel and Rose Fawn collided on the third turn checking Rose Fawn. Zipping Hunter and Diamond Cartel collided on the third turn. Diamond Cartel and Zipping Hunter collided approaching the home turn checking Diamond Cartel.

Trainer Brett Nye was fined $50 for failing to produce the weight card for Barooga Smoke pursuant to GAR 33(4).

Javi, Barooga Smoke and Blackpool Astro collided on the first turn checking Blackpool Astro, Barooga Smoke, Black Que and Tan Back Tan. Zipping Ryder and Barooga Smoke collided on the first turn.

Uncle Rico and Dyna Xervo collided soon after the start. Zipping Kiki and Big Baccala collided soon after the start checking Big Baccala. Zipping Kiki and Uncle Rico collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Atticus raced wide on the first turn checking Dewana Be Sure. Zipping Kiki and Uncle Rico collided on the first turn checking Uncle Rico and Dyna Xervo. Big Baccala and Dewana Be Sure collided approaching the home turn.

Franki Jay was slow to begin. 

Go Commando and Tough Tears collided from soon after the start until the first turn, checking Tough Tears. Shadow Mist, Jayville Slick and Red Gate collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Shadow Mist and Go Commando collided on the second turn. Go Commando lost ground from the back straight. Go Commando and Tough Tears collided on the fourth turn.

Go Commando underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed

Summer Girl was quick to begin. Another Vader was slow to begin. 

Summer Girl and Durant collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Summer Girl and Durant collided on the second turn checking Summer Girl. Mr. Milford and Miss Heart collided approaching the third turn. Come On Eleanor visibly eased on the fourth turn. Summer Girl checked off Mr. Milford on the fourth turn. 

Come On Eleanor underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr M Marshall, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the fourth turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Come On Eleanor was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Marshall pleaded not guilty to the charge. Come On Eleanor was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Jim Zarr Dashian and Hot Finish collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Why Not Paps, Jim Zarr Dashian, Kilpatrick and Onions O'Reilly collided approaching the first turn checking Kilpatrick. Jim Zarr Dashian checked off Ma's Plum Jam on the third turn. Why Not Paps shifted in entering the home straight, and Dyna Aakil shifted out entering the home straight, causing Dyan Aakil to become unbalanced.

Stewards reviewed the racing incident between Why Not Paps and Dyna Aakil in the home straight. Acting on their own observations, as well as the side and head on footage, Stewards determined the incident occurred due to Why Not Paps shifting in entering the home straight, and Dyan Aakil simultaneously shifting out, which caused Dyan Aakil to become unbalanced. Stewards also took into account submissions from the trainer of Dyan Aakil, Mr D Gibbons, and were satisfied with his explanation of the incident. Stewards took no action against either greyhound.

Desiree Devere was quick to begin. Dewana Classic and Ed Deeds collided approaching the first turn. Starry's Lad and Lara Tara collided approaching the first turn. Lara Tara, Dewana Classic, and Ed Deeds collided approaching the first turn checking Dewana Classic. Starry's Lad, Lara Tara, and Ed Deeds collided on the first turn, checking Lara Tara and causing Ed Deeds to fall. Starry's Lad and Dewana Classic collided approaching the second turn.

Ed Deeds underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Dove's Cry and She's An Earn were quick to begin. Extra Gear and Lily Pad were slow to begin. Extra Gear galloped on Dove's Cry approaching the winning post. 

Rainbow Spirit, Nunniong Plain, Jayville Roman and Burning Mountain collided soon after the start checking Nunniong Plain and Burning Mountain. Rainbow Spirit galloped on Jayville Roman on the first turn checking Rainbow Spirit, Father Phevos, Burning Mountain and Lightning Blast, severely checking Jayville Roman which subsequently failed to finish. Aston Lindop checked off Nunniong Plain on the second turn. Lightning Blast checked off Rainbow Spirit on the third turn. 

Jayville Roman underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured/dislocated right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Pure Cool Titan was slow to begin. Pirates Patch and Brocky collided soon after the start. Brocky checked off Cailah Thai on the first turn checking Pure Cool Titan, Roger Express, Brocky and Grudge. Pure Cool Titan and Grudge collided on the second turn. Brocky and Grudge collided on the third turn checking Brocky. Pirates Patch and Aston Ando collided on the third turn. Roger Express checked off Cailah Thai in the home straight.
