Willy Eve was quick to begin.  Parumba Barty was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Barely Breaking, Madalia Daisy and Somerton Osprey collided soon after the start checking Madalia Daisy.  Somerton Osprey and Hint Of Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Somerton Osprey.  Barely Breaking galloped on She's A Charm approaching the first turn checking She's A Charm, Hint Of Magic and Somerton Osprey.  Somerton Osprey and Parumba Barty collided on the first turn checking Parumba Barty.  She's A Charm faltered approaching the home turn and lost considerable ground.  Parumba Barty checked off Hint Of Magic on the home turn.  Willy Eve and Drakari collided several times from the home turn to the home straight checking both greyhounds. Madalia Daisy raced wide entering the home straight.

She's A Charm underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle tear. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Supplementary report 20/3/20:

Trainer Mr Brian Sonneman advised Stewards that his greyhound "She's A Charm" underwent a follow-up vet assessment on Friday 20 March 2020 with Dr Des Fegan. Mr Sonneman stated that the greyhound was treated with an injection of fibrevein/platelet rich plasma by Dr Fegan and was advised to have "She's A Charm" vetted again before the greyhound races in future. Pursuant to GAR 75(2).

War Ruby and Unleash Betty were quick to begin.  Adonis Sands checked off War Ruby approaching the first turn checking Up The Ante and Unleash Betty.  Up The Ante checked off Unleash Betty on the first turn checking Magic Voyage and Lika Lottie.  Sneaky Mojo raced wide entering the home straight.

Jayville Tuxedo was slow to begin.  Jayville Tuxedo checked off Dr. Zayd approaching the first turn and crossed to the rail.  Attitude Plus and Until Late collided approaching the first turn severely checking Until Late and Dr. Liana.  Attitude Plus checked off Dr. Zayd approaching the first turn checking Dr. Zayd.  Until Late and Jayville Tuxedo collided approaching the first turn checking Until Late.  All Class Fairy, Jayville Tuxedo and Attitude Plus collided on the home turn checking Attitude Plus and All Class Fairy, severely checking Jayville Tuxedo and Dr. Zayd.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from All Class Fairy. A post-race sample was subsequently taken.

It's A Date was slow to begin.  It's A Date checked off Bomber's Queen approaching the first turn.  Baileys On Ice and Mac's Secret collided on the first turn checking Bailey's On Ice, Mac's Secret, Dr. Madelyn and Bomber's Queen.  Bailey's On Ice checked off Aston Jolie approaching the home turn.

Pennine Hunter and Bobby Ray were quick to begin.  She Wiggles was slow to begin.  Thistle Rock and Zipping Ryder collided soon after the start checking Zipping Ryder.  Pennine Way checked off Bobby Ray on the first turn.  Zipping Ryder crossed to the rail approaching the second turn checking Thistle Rock, She Wiggles and Pennine Way.  Zipping Ryder checked off Kindra approaching the second turn.  Zipping Hunter checked off Bobby Ray on the second turn checking Zipping Ryder.  Bobby Ray and Diamond Duchess collided on the home turn.  Thistle Rock checked off Diamond Duchess entering the home straight.

Woolybully Keats - Late scratching at 6:44am when trainer S. Keating reported the greyhound to have an illness. (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Minter Zoom.

Monster Machine checked off Marcello approaching the first turn.  Percy's Diva crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Loaded and Macy Lee.  Bomber's Return, Minter Zoom, Marcello and Percy's Diva collided approaching the first turn checking Bomber's Return and Percy's Diva, severely checking Minter Zoom, Marcello and Monster Machine.  Marcello and Monster Machine collided on the first turn checking Monster Machine.  Percy's Diva checked off Bomber's Return approaching the home turn.

Aston Asahi - Late scratching at 11:08AM on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an abrasion to the inside right hock. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Destini Trucker, Tezzalenko and Skittle collided approaching the first turn checking Destini Trucker, Skittle and Duke Of Airly.

Bejarano was slow to begin.  Anise checked off Beatrice on the first turn.  Beatrice, Owlette and Cavernando collided on the first turn checking Airly Spence and Dr. Rayna severely checking Owlette and Cavernando.  Cavernando and Bejarano collided approaching the second turn checking Cavernando.  Bejarano and Dr. Rayna collided on the second turn.  Owlette checked off Cavernando on the second turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Beatrice - the winner of the event.

Shanlyn Spot and Agent Levi were slow to begin.  Zipping Wade was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Shanlyn Spot checked off Agent Levi approaching the first turn and raced wide.  Meehan Louie and Zipping Wade raced wide entering the home straight. 

Bomber's Wonder – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Aston Meilleur was quick to begin.  Take A Rose, Dr. Luna and My Attitude collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Luna and My Attitude.  Tilly Lee, Aston Meilleur and Mighty Matilda collided on the home turn checking Aston Meilleur and Mighty Matilda.  Aston Meilleur and Mighty Matilda collided entering the home straight.

Alon was quick to begin.  Splinter was slow to begin.  Hird From Bucks checked off Toril approaching the first turn.  Toril contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground checking Hird From Bucks.
