An out of competition sample was taken from Flynn (Scratched) on 4 February pursuant to GAR 79A.
Tilly Lee was quick to begin.
Sparky Girl and Dex's Affair collided soon after the start. Sparky Girl and Busy Bella collided approaching the first turn. Sparky Girl and Dex's Affair raced wide on the first turn. Wears Woodleigh checked off Dyna Bonnay on the first turn. Tilly Lee and Dyna Bonnay collided on the second turn. Dex's Affair checked off Sparky Girl in the back straight. Wears Woodleigh raced wide in the back straight. Dyna Bonnay checked off Bartholomew Bale in the home straight. Wears Woodleigh raced ungenerously approaching the winning post.
Wears Woodleigh underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following race 7- no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mrs Maureen Brown, the representative of Wears Woodleigh regarding its performance approaching the winning post. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Wears Woodleigh must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
