Hundred Each and Social Byte collided approaching the first turn checking Superior Merlot. Hundred Each and Social Byte collided on the first turn, checking Social Bite and Superior Merlot which raced wide as a result. Lily's Lad and Hundred Each collided approaching the home turn checking Hundred Each. Lily's Lad raced wide on the home turn. Social Byte checked off Hundred Each on the home turn. Superior Merlot crossed out entering the home straight and collided with Social Byte checking Social Byte. Superior Merlot raced wide in the home straight.

Sabakat and Lucas Rose collided soon after the start checking Sabakat. Jebrynah Green crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Lucas Rose and Cersei. Sultan Bale, Big Barra and Fast Talker collided on the first turn checking Big Barra. Zipping Afro checked off Sultan Bale on the home turn. Fast Talker raced wide from the home turn to the winning post.

Tekki Jim - Late scratching at 5.10pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an abrasion to the left hind leg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Jackson's Creek and Run Like Jess were quick to begin. 

Greysynd Spectre was slow to begin and contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Fleck and He Shall Blitz collided approaching the first turn checking Fleck. Jackson's Creek, He Shall Blitz and Captain Dynamite collided on the first turn checking He Shall Blitz. Jackson's Creek checked off Captain Dynamite approaching the second turn severely checking Prince Archer, Fleck and Greysynd Specture. Greysynd Specture clipped the heels of He Shall Blitz approaching the home turn checking Fleck. Fleck checked off Greysynd Specture on the home turn. 

Greysynd Specture underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hock and injuries to the left monkey muscle and left calf muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Prince Archer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Wears Woodleigh checked off Dyna Bonnay on the first turn. Tilly Lee and Dyna Bonnay collided on the second turn. Dex's Affair checked off Sparky Girl in the back straight. Wears Woodleigh raced wide in the back straight. Dyna Bonnay checked off Bartholomew Bale in the home straight. Wears Woodleigh raced ungenerously approaching the winning post. 

Wears Woodleigh underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following race 7- no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs Maureen Brown, the representative of Wears Woodleigh regarding its performance approaching the winning post. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Wears Woodleigh must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rock Me Lloyd and Oh Suzie collided soon after the start. Ignite The Stars crossed in on the first turn and collided with Come On Levendi and Shy Gem severely checking Shy Gem. Rock Me Lloyd galloped on Superior Kiki and Come On Levendi approaching the home turn checking Come On Levendi and Ignite The Stars and severely checking Rock Me Lloyd. Superior Kiki and Cherokee Cash collided in the home straight.

Shifty, Kiwi Hustler, Charlie Checker, Big Bash Ellyse and Blair Bale collided on the first turn checking Charlie Checker and Big Bash Ellyse.
